Abstract

This research discusses what is Vietnam's national interest in cooperating with Russia, which of course Vietnam's national interest is seen from several aspects such as Economic Aspects, Defense and Security Aspects, State Administration Aspects, and Ideological Aspects. With this national interest, it can provide benefits both internally and externally to the country of Vietnam. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method obtained through literature study. The results show that Vietnam's national interests, among others, are to be able to strengthen and maintain Vietnam's sovereignty by cooperating with Russia, this is also a big step for Vietnam to open up as a developing country that is ready to cooperate in the national interest of its country.
