Abstract

The objectives of this research are to: (1) Calculate the income earned bytofu craftsmen in Bukit Sangkal Village, Kalidoni Subdistrict, Palembang (2)Calculating the amount of added value of soybeans obtained from tofu processingin Bukit Sangkal Village, Kalidoni Subdistrict, Palembang. (3) Analyzing how the marketing strategy of the tofu industry is in Bukit Sangkal Village, Kalidoni Subdistrict, Palembang. This research was conducted in Bukit Sangkal Village, Kalidoni Subdistrict, Palembang city. The method used in this study was a survey method. Primary data and secondary data obtained in the field processedmathematical methods, tabulated followed by a qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the monthly tofu processing business income was Rp.18,990,532. The added value obtained from this tofu processing industry is Rp. 13,180 / Kg, with an added value ratio of 60.88%. This means that the processing of soybeans into tofu gives an added value of 60.88% of the value of the product. The processing marketing strategy knows this is an aggressive strategy by focusing more on the SO (Strength-Opportunities) strategy, namely by using the power to take advantage of opportunities
