Abstract
The development in the development sector is now so rapid, it is no longer common for big cities in Indonesia. This sometimes often creates new problems in certain areas, because the planning does not take into account the weather conditions around the area. From the process of getting an estimate of the amount of rainfall observed, it can be done by direct observation and indirect monitoring using remote sensing from the GPM (Global Precipitation Measurement) satellite. In collecting data in this study, two rain gauges are commonly used in inspections, namely Manual rain gauges, namely Observatory type (obs) and Hellmen type Automatic rainfall gauges. Rainfall data on the GPM satellite has an nc4 file format, to be able to read the data by utilizing the Arc Toolbox contained in the Arcgis Software and a rainfall map in the form of grids and colors indicates the amount of rainfall in the area, then design a map of the distribution of rainfall properly and according to the rules of making a map. Based on the results of the analysis of the average rainfall intensity using the Mononobe method, for the Observatory data it is 0.66 mm/hour; Hellman at 0.93 mm/hour ; The GPM satellite is 1.21 mm/hour. While the average with the Van Breen method, for Observatory data is 1.67 mm/hour; Hellman of 2.34 ; GPM satellite at 3.03 mm/hour.
