Abstract

This research was an attempt to analyze the relation between product strategy and profits in the special banana chipts industry in Bandar Lampung. The primary data were collected from interview whereas the secondary data from govemment agencies such as Central Bureau for Statistics and Office of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives. The data were analyzed Usirtg a quantitative and qualitative method. The research results show that there was a strong relationship between product strategy and profits. Producers used strategies such as differentiation, diversification, and promotion.
