Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasikan bagaimana pengaruh Nilai Tukar (Kurs) terhadap Suku Bunga Pasar Uang Antar Bank di Negara ASEAN-5. Data yang digunakan adalah periode 1992 sampai 2011 serta meliputi 5 negara ASEAN (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand dan Philipina). Data ini dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode regresi Data Panel (panelpooled data). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara variabel Nilai Tukar (Kurs) terhadap Suku Bunga Pasar Uang Antar Bank (PUAB) yang teijadi di Negara Singapura, Thailand dan Philipina, Sedangkan variabel Nilai tukar (Kurs) terhadap Suku Bunga Pasar Uang Antar Bank (PUAB) mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan di Negara Indonesia dan Malaysia.
