Abstract

This sludy was aimed at flnding out the influence of foreign debt and interest rates of Bank Indonesia on the economic growth of Indonesia. The data used in this study were the secondary data, namely the data of Indonesia's foreign debt, the data of interest rates of Bank Indonesia, and the data gross product domestic on the basis of constant prices of the year 2000. The dependent variable was the economic growth of Indonesia as seen from the data of gross domestic product on the basis of constant prices of the year 2000 and the independent variable was the growth of Indonesia’s foreign debt and the interest rate of Bank Indonesia. Multiple regression was used to analyze the data in this study. This study showed that the independent variables influenced the overall economic growth in Indonesia,. Individually, the growth variable of foreign debt significantly influenced the economic growth of Indonesia seen from the growth of gross product domestic at constant prices of the year 2000 and the interest rates of Bank Indonesia also had a significant effect on economic growth of. Indonesia in terms of growth of gross domestic product at constant prices of the the year 2000
