Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh perubahan Penawaran Uang dalam arti luas (M2) dan Harga Minyak Mentah Dunia terhadap pergerakan Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama priode 1998-2009. Dimana, Variabel yang digunakan adalah Pergerakan nilai IHSG, perubahan jumlah penawaran uang (M2), dan fluktuasi harga minyak mentah dunia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari website Bank Indonesia, OPEC, dan Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik uji regresi berganda yang di bantu dengan program eviews 3.0 menggunakan metode Augmened Dickey Fuller (ADF), metode Granger Causality, dan metode Likelihood Ratio. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka pendek variabel Penawaran Uang (M2) berpengaruh negatif terhadap pergerakan IHSG Gedangkan fluktuasi harga minyak mentah dunia berpengaruh positif terhadap bergerakan IHSG di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sementara itu, hubungan antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependen hanya terjadi secara sepihak (bi-directional Causality).
