Abstract
Mine ventilation is an effort to control the movement of air. In order to obtain detailed information regarding the quantity, quality, and propulsion of air required for underground mining operations in the ventilation network system, it is necessary to conduct a technical study of the existing ventilation system. The minimum amount of air required for the operational needs of the Seluang underground mine PT. Kusuma Raya Utama is as much as 45.16 m3/s based on the minimum air requirement for breathing per person, equipment requirements, and gas dilution according to the Decree of the Director General of Mineral and Coal No.185.K/3.04/DJB/2019. The amount of clean air supply that enters the Seluang mine is 55.54 m3/s. So that the air supply in the Seluang mine meets the required minimum air requirements. The methane gas content 0.007% and 0.0002% CO gas is still below the threshold for the maximum volume of methane and CO 0.25% for methane and 0.005% for CO. The measurement location 15 shows a value higher than the allowable air temperature limit, which is 18oC to 27oC, while the humidity in the mine is 86% to 92% which generally exceeds the permissible threshold of 85%. Measurement of air propulsion required to overcome resistance or decrease in ventilation pressure at the Seluang Mine is 127.72 Kw. Keywords : Ventilation, Quantity, Quality, Air Power
