Abstract
We often encounter the use of pipes as a means of liquid fluid to flow in everyday life. This can cause a decrease in flow pressure and a change in the flow regime. Fluid properties and flow velocity also affect the flow regime. Based on these considerations, experimental research will be carried out using a plexyglass pipe as a test section and equipped with flow visualization. The research was conducted by taking pressure data at 5 points in the test section. From the results of the study, the largest Re value was 25676, which occurred at a discharge of 0.00041 m3/s, while the lowest Re value was 5091 at a discharge of 0.000083 m3/s. The largest pressure value of 102828 Pa occurred at Re 25676 at the first point of the manometer, while the lowest pressure value of 101344 Pa occurred at Re 25676 at the 5th point of the manometer. The largest total pressure drop value, namely 1484 Pa, occurred at Re 25676. From the observations, the flow regime that occurred along the test section was turbulent flow.
