Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Tingkat Bunga SBI dan Pembayaran Non Tunai terhadap Permintaan Uang di Indonesia. Uang merupakan pengendali perekonomian, apabila uang terlalu banyak maka perekonomian akan inflasi dan sebaliknya apabila uang terlalu sedikit perekonomian akan deflasi. Permintaan uang dipengaruhi oleh tingat bunga Sertifikat Bank Indonesia dan seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi di bidang komunikasi dan informasi sehingga menggeser pola pembayaran masyarakat dari pembayaran tunai ke pembayaran non tunai yang juga mempengaruhi permintaan uang. Data yang digunakan adalah Permintaan Uang (Ml), Tingkat Bunga SBI (iSBI), dan nilai transaksi BI-RTGS dan Kliring sebagai parameter Pembayaran Non Tunai. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda (ordinary least square) dengan metode ECM serta menghasilkan hasil estimasi yang baik dengan uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tingkat Bunga SBI berpengaruh negatif signifikan dan Pembayaran Non Tunai berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Permintaan Uang di Indonesia
