Abstract

The aim of study is determining the role of job involvement toward quality of work life honorary teachers of state vocational school in Bandar Lampung. The study hypothesis that there is a role of job involvement toward quality of work life. The population of this study was all honorary teachers of state vocational school in Bandar Lampung as many as 272 people. The research sample was 152 people, and for the trial (try out) as many as 33 people. Sampling techniques using quota sampling. The measuring instrument used is the quality of work life scale which refers to the criteria of Walton (1973) and the scale of job involvement that refers to the dimensions of Yoshimura (1996). Analysis of research data using simple regression. The results of the analysis show the value of R square = 0,300, F = 64,371 and p = 0,000 (p <0.05). The results show that job involvement has a role toward quality of work life. Thus, the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted where the contribution of job involvement toward quality of work life is 30%.
