Abstract

The objective of this study is to see and analyze the development of value added, productivity of labour, and production efficiency of clove cigarette industry in Indonesia. This used secondary data in the form of the series, annual data in 25 years from 1986-2010, obtained from various reports published by Central Statistics Agency, Department of Industry and Commerce, Departement of Labor and several magazines. This study used 5 digit ISIC code, 16002. This study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The result of this study show that the value added and productivity labor of clove cigarette industry in Indonesia are always increasing, and the production efficiency always reach the efficient level.
