Abstract
At the beginning of 2020, the world community was hit by the disaster of the Covid-19 Virus outbreak, so the surveillance and immunization section is certainly an organization that plays an important role in the Covid-19 prevention policy. In order to achieve the success of the organization's goals, competent and quality human resources are not spared. This study aims to analyze the Health Human Resource Needs in the surveillance and..immunization section of the Health Office..South Sumatra Province in the Covid-19 era. This research is a mix method where the combination of qualitative and quantitative research, the variables in this study use the Health Workload Analysis (ABK Kes) method. There were 10 informants involved in this study consisting of 1 section head and 9 staff of the surveillance and immunization section of the South Sumatra Provincial Health Office. The result of this research is the available working time is 2712 hours. Job descriptions and time norms are in accordance with the functions and duties of each program. The highest standard of workload is in the general administration program of 31188 hours and the lowest standard of workload is in the crisis management program of 4384 hours. There is no description of supporting tasks so that it cannot be calculated for supporting task factors and supporting task standards. There is no time norm for job descriptions related to Covid-19. Based on the calculation results of the South Sumatra Provincial Health Office, there are 8 people lacking in surveillance and immunization personnel. To overcome this, it is hoped that the South Sumatra Provincial Health Office can optimize the use of the SISDMK application such as inputting new position data in the SISDMK application and the Requirement Plan (Renbut) so that energy needs can be met according to the actual situation, reducing workloads can be done by doing Delegation of work or sorting jobs according to the level of urgency of work, opening volunteers for handling Covid-19 and arranging work shifts for workers to avoid fatigue and decreased productivity, it is hoped that an instrument/SOP will be issued regarding the description of time norms regarding the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
