Abstract

This study aims to determine the state of the cost structure of the rubber industry in Indonesia. This research was conducted in Indonesia from 2004 to 2018 with a 3-digit ISIC code is 221. The data used in this study is secondary data with the analysis technique used in this study is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that when viewed from the cost structure of the rubber industry in 2004 to 2018 where the percentage composition of raw and auxiliary material costs, labor cost, capital cost, and energy cost is dominated by raw and auxiliary material cost, followed by the cost of wages for labor, then to pay for electricity and gas costs in the form of energy cost, while the smallest cost is capital cost incurred to pay building rent, and repair of machines and tools used by industry or companies in producing rubber.
