Abstract
This study aims to analyze the optimal internet pricing scheme model using the Cloud Radio Access Network (C-RAN) model which is enhanced by involving the Fair Network Traffic Management variable and the Bundling Problem Optimization model. C-RAN is a centralized radio access network connected to cellular antennas to process signals and then transmit them to the core network. The Bundling model is modified with the Consumer Problem Optimization model and the Perfect Substitute utility function. To measure the level of consumer satisfaction, three schemes namely flat fee, usage based, and two-part tariff pricing schemes are applied. This research was completed optimally as a Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP) problem. The improved C-RAN model was modified into two cases and compared to the solution of the original model. With the help of local server data, the maximum profit is Rp. 20.8/KBps in the improved case 1 model by applying a flat fee pricing scheme. These results were completed with the help of LINGO 13.0 software. Based on the analysis that has been done, the results of this study indicate that the improved C-RAN model can be utilized by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to increase profits.
