Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of economic efficiency of fisheries in Kurau Village. This is a quantitative study. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from 83 selected samples. The analysis technique used in this study is the Stochastic Frontier Approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the average level of technical efficiency of the fisheries in Kurau Village is 0.768 or equal to 76.8%. The allocative efficiency level of capital and labor variables are 16.86 and 9.40 each which means that the fisheries in Kurau Village has not achieved the allocative efficiency yet because the value is greater than 1. While the economic efficiency of fisheries in Kurau Village is 10.08 which also means that the fisheries is not economically efficient because the value is greater than 1.
