Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of push-up training on the passing of volleyball at the RBO (regional betterment office) club in Palembang city. This study used a quasi-experimental research method, using a one-group pretest and posttest research design. Sampling using a total population sampling technique with a sample of 30 people. The research instrument is Brady Wall. The results of this study using hypothesis testing data analysis with statistical calculations t test, that push up exercises on the results of passing over volleyball club RBO (regional betterment office) Palembang city. With a significance level of = 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted by H1 if Tcount > Ttable(1-α), the data obtained is tcount (11.351) > ttable (1.70) meaning H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, push up exercises have an influence on the results of passing over at the RBO club in the city of Palembang.
