Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange have been able to create and increase added value for companies and shareholders during the 2016 – 2020 period by using Financial Value Added (FVA) and Refined Economic Value Added (REVA) analysis. The saturated sample used in this study is 179 companies with several conditions. This research result uses descriptive analysis method with research results showing that manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange produce positive FVA values during the study period because the average NOPAT of the company is able to cover equivalent depreciation so that the company has created financial value added for the company and shareholders. While the REVA value generated by manufacturing companies during the research period is negative because the average NOPAT company is unable to pay all of its obligations to funders so that the company has not been able to create economic value added for the company and shareholders.
