Abstract

Audit is an activity of collecting and examining concrete evidence related to information to determine and make reports regarding the level of accuracy between information and established criteria. An audit is conducted to evaluate the data and information in the report as appropriate. An audit is also needed to be a reference for the company to take the next step. Energy is one of the things that cannot be separated from human life. One of them is electrical energy, the use of electrical energy occupies the top position in terms of usage time and allocation of funds. This happens because there are many electronic equipment around us that use electrical energy. Utilization of electricity usage is very important in the operation of buildings or buildings. The use of electrical energy in buildings has been determined in the applicable standards. This is influenced by the level of user comfort. The applicable standards are also guidelines for building managers to observe the use of electrical energy in the event of a surge in power usage. And the building manager can determine the location of the waste. Energy conservation itself has various types, one of which is an energy audit. Energy audit is the process of evaluating energy use and identifying energy saving opportunities as well as recommendations for improving efficiency in energy use and the use of energy sources in the context of energy conservation (SNI 03-6196-2011). Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) number 13 of 2012 concerning “Electricity Consumption Savings”, it clearly states that all government office buildings both at the central and regional levels must implement the Electrical Energy Saving program in the Air Conditioning system.
