Abstract

ABSTACT This research is entitled "Implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Number 69 of 2018 concerning Supervision of Circulating Goods and/or Services by the Trade Office of the Province of South Sumatra". This research is motivated by the supervision of circulating goods and services in South Sumatra by the Consumer Protection and Orderly Commerce Division at the Trade Office of South Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Regulation of the Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Number 69 of 2018 concerning Supervision of Circulating Goods and/or Services by the Trade Office of the Province of South Sumatra. This study uses the theory of George C. Edward III with four dimensions that are used as benchmarks, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by reviewing legislation, books, supervisory reports related to this research, data collection techniques are carried out using interviews, documentation, and field observations. The results showed that the lack of human resources (staff) hampered the supervision of goods circulating in South Sumatra so that it could not be carried out thoroughly in South Sumatra. The inappropriate comparison between the South Sumatra region which has 12 regencies and four cities with 15 employees in the Consumer Protection and Orderly Commerce Sector makes the supervision cannot be carried out thoroughly. Suggestions for this research is the addition of staff for supervising officers of circulating goods to be able to carry out overall supervision of goods in circulation in the South Sumatra region.
