Abstract

D. Tegal Rejo Village is one of the bersa-producing villages in tugumulyo district and most of the rice fields in D. Tegal Rejo village are irrigated so that it is possible to plant rice throughout the day. Besides beiong a producer of rice, the farmers in D. Tegal Rejo village is also one of the producers of freshwater fish such as tilapia, goldfish, and other. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the rice and tilapia farming techniques in D. Tegal Rejo Village, Tugumiulyo District, Musi Rawas Regency. (2) to describe the socio-economic characteristics of rice and tilapia farming in D. Tegal Rejo Village, Tugumulyo District, Musi Rawas Regency, and (3) to analyze the income of rice farming and tilapia farming in the D. Tegal Rejo village, Tugumulyo District, Musi Rawas Regency.
