Abstract
Corona virus is a major health problem and the most common cause of death in Indonesia and even in the world with the number of cases increasing every year. In addition, in Ogan Ilir Regency, there are still people who have been exposed to the Corona virus from 2020 until now. On 7 May 2020 the number of confirmed cases reached 12,776. The COVID-19 pandemic does not only affect public health, but also other aspects of life, therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the Effectiveness of the Corona Virus Prevention Program (Covid-19) in Ogan Ilir Regency.This research is a research The mixed method is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods in one study. Information obtained through Questionnaires or GoogleForms,Structured Interviews, observation and document review. a list of questionnaires distributed to respondents, namely 100 people from Ogan Ilir Regency as a quantitative method and informants, namely 4 officers selected at the Ogan Ilir Regency Health Office, namely the Head of Program Planning, Head of P2P Section, Head of Surveillance and Immunization Section, Surveillance Officer and Society. Based on this analysis technique, the researchers obtained the results that the answers from respondents on the Effectiveness of the Corona Virus Prevention Program (Covid-19) in Ogan Ilir Regency with 5 measuring indicators, namely:Program Understanding (Effective), Program Targets (Effective), Timeliness (Effective), Goals Program (Sufficiently Effective) and Real Change (Sufficiently Effective). And the results of the answers from the informants were found to be quite effective. The program that was run in Ogan Ilir Regency with supporters was carried out. Direct field observations were made by looking at the officers' targets in inviting the public to always obey the government program, namely 3M (Wearing masks, maintaining distance and washing hands using soap with water flowing).It is better for both officers and the public to have their own awareness by always complying with the 3M (Wearing a mask, maintaining distance and washing hands using soap with running water).
