Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine where the growth centers and hinterland areas in jabodetabek and the level of agglomeration distribution using Balassa index. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from BadanPusatStatistik (BPS) in 13 regencies or cities jabodetabek in 2020. The method used in this research are the analysis method of klassen typology, Scalogram, Centralized Index, Gravity and Balassa index. The results from scalogram analysis and centralist index show that bogor regency is the center of growth in development area jabodetabek. with the advantage of economic growth greater than per capita income (Klassen Typology) with hinterland areas including Bogor City and Bekasi City. Based on the calculation of the Balassa Index which shows the results of a weak agglomeration level in Bogor Regency.
