Abstract

Increasing the quality of rubber is the Government effort to improve and develop the rubber sector in Indonesia. However, crumb rubber factories still complain that the quality of the product produced by rubber farmers is inconsistent and not the same. The aims of this reasearch were (1) Analyzing the quality of processed rubber (Bokar) materials for rubber farmers in Gedung Agung Village, (2) Evaluate whether Rubber farmers in Gedung Agung has applied Minister of Agriculture Regulation No.38/Permentan/OT.140/8/2008 regarding efforts to encourage - trying to improve the quality of Bokar, (3) Obtain a suitable type of strategy.for improving the quality of processed rubber (Bokar) materials for rubber farmers. This research was conducted in November 2020 until December 2020. The method used was the survey method. The data processed is primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection was obtained by observation and direct interviews with sample farmers using a list of questions. While secondary data is data that supports research obtained from relevant institutions, books, internet sources and relevant research studies. The results of this study indicate that (1) the quality of lump type lumps in Gedung Agung Village is in the moderate category, (2) Application of Agriculture Regarding Supports to Increase Bokar Suppliers Still Not Implemented by Most Rubber Farmers in Gedung Agung Village, (3) The results of the SWOT analysis show the position for improving the quality of processed rubber material type lump From Smallholder’s In Gedung Agung Village is at quadrant III, means the suitable strategy is turn-around strategy
