Abstract
At the end of 2019 until the beginning of 2020 there was a new virus, more precisely an infection, Indonesia carried out the first report on March 02, 2020, the government quickly suspended activities outside the home such as teaching and learning activities in schools and crowd centers, mid-2020 the government set PSBB in several areas with the aim of stabilize the economy. The purpose of this study is to be able to control the number of people by designing a system for counting the number of people who will enter the hall using the HC-SR 04 ultrasonic sensor which is connected by IoT (Internet of Things) and integrated directly with an application in a smartphone, namely Blynk. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the tool in this project can work well in calculating the number of visitors with a predetermined number of visitors and in conditions of social distancing, the visitor accommodation can only be carried out around 50 to 80 visitors, if more than that, visitors can certainly not do social distancing.
