Abstract

Polifarmasi adalah penggunaan minimal lima obat secara bersamaan setiap harinya. Pasien hipertensi cenderung menerima resep polifarmasi, baik obat antihipertensi ataupun non-antihipertensi, untuk mencapai target tekanan darah. Polifarmasi dapat memicu interaksi obat. Interaksi obat adalah penggunaan dua atau lebih obat yang diberikan pada waktu bersamaan dapat memberikan efek masing-masing atau saling berinteraksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan polifarmasi dan potensi interaksi obat pada pasien yang mendapatkan resep antihipertensi di RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang Tahun 2020. Penelitian dilakukan secara retrospektif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data diambil melalui catatan rekam medis pasien rawat inap. Diperoleh sampel sebanyak 44 lembar rekam medis. Berdasarkan hasil uji Pearson, nilai korelasi antara polifarmasi dan kejadian interaksi obat yaitu -0,175 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,318 (>0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara polifarmasi dan potensi interaksi obat di poli rawat inap RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang. Kata kunci : hipertensi, interaksi obat, polifarmasi
