Abstract

Tindak pidana pemalsuan uang merupakan perbuatan yang menjadikan sesuatu yang palsu atau tidak asli sebagai suatu yang asli dan tidak dipalsukan yang ditinjau dari hukum pidana Indonesia merupakan kejahatan yang diatur di dalam KUHP Buku II tentang kejahatan dalam pasal 244 s/d 252. Penegakan hukum masalah pemalsuan uang ditinjau dari hukum Indonesia dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak yang berwenang antara lain Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN) yang melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak Kepolisian Republik Indonesia, Kejaksaan, Pengadilan, dan Bank Sentral (BI), serta peran aktif dari masyarakat.
