Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah kemampuan menulis rencana kegiatan siswa kelas VIII b SMP Negeri 1 Kota Agung Kabupaten Lahat dengan metode survei dapat meningkat? Berkaitan dengan itu, penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan menulis rencana kegiatan siswa kelas VIII b SMP Negeri 1 Kota Agung Lahat dengan metode survei. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan secara bersiklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 40 orang siswa kelas VIII b. Lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Agung Kabupaten Lahat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes awal, tes akhir, serta observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebelum penggunaan metode survei, siswa kelas VIII b SMP Negeri 1 Kota Agung belum terampil menulis rencana kegiatan. Pada tahap ini hanya 7,5% siswa yang bernilai >65. Setelah metode survei digunakan pada siklus I, ternyata teijadi peningkatan persentase siswa yang berhasil yakni, dari 7,5% menjadi 32,5%. Selanjutnya, pada siklus II juga teijadi peningkatan persentase siswa yang berhasil yakni, dari 32,5% menjadi 62,5%. Kemudian, pada siklus III juga teijadi peningkatan nilai siswa menjadi 90%. Jadi, pada siklus III siswa telah terampil menulis rencana kegiatan melalui metode survei.
