Abstract

loans as an effort to improve housewife creativity through the development of small businesses in the village of Pematang Buluran. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that develops descriptive data from phenomena that are studied by the community group analysis unit in Pematang Buluran Village which is a member of a women's savings and loan cooperative. Determination of informants using a purposive model, to get detailed information in accordance with research interests. The research strategy used was a case study with data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data collected is then analyzed and arranged systematically. The results showed how the role of cooperatives in saving women's loans as an effort to improve household creativity through the development of small businesses in Pematang Buluran Village, Sirah Pulau padang, is a board that is able to organize its own training and can only raise the training requested by the government. Savings and loan cooperatives in Pematang Buluran Village also offer several facilities that make cooperatives no better, this planning-improvement is based on limited resources, allocation with various resources, capital, and also support from the government.
