Abstract

The aim of the study is determining whether there is a role of regulation emotion toward stres of student final year research project at Sriwijaya University . This study hypothesizes that there is a role of regulation emotion toward stres of student final year research project at Sriwijaya University. This study used 300 respondents with details of 30 students each form Faculty. The sampling technique was quota sampling. The measuring instrument that used is regulation emotion scale which refers to regulation emotion aspects by Gross (2014) and a stress scale that refers to stress aspects by Sarafino (2014). Data analysis used simple regression. The result of simple regression shows R square : 0,281, F = 131,288 and P = 0,000 (p<0,05). This means that regulation emotion has a role toward stress. Thus, the hypothesis could be accepted and regulation emotion contribution toward stress is 28%.. Key Words: Regulation Emotion, Stress, Student
