Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has generally reduced the number of visits to maternal and child health services (KIA) at the public health center. One of the efforts to increase the coverage of the MCH program is influenced by the implementation of the MCH program management function. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of health service management based on the implementation management function of the MCH program in ANC services at Plaju Health Center. The type of research used is qualitative research that produces descriptive data. The method of determining the informants was purposive sampling technique so that the number of informants obtained was 7 people consisting of 1 head of the public health center, 1 coordinating midwife, 2 assistant midwives, 1 staff from the Health Service Office of Health, and 2 pregnant women. Types of data are sourced from primary data and secondary data by collecting interview data, observation, and document review which are then validated by triangulation. Then the process of data analysis with data collection, review, data reduction, data presentation, and finally conclude. The results of this study indicate that the planning function in the MCH program has been carried out well in setting goals, formulating the current situation to identifying all the facilities and obstacles carried out by the stages of program planning in general. The organizing function is carried out by dividing the tasks according to the competence of each employee based on the organizational components and organizational structures that have been implemented properly. Then the mobilization function, the leadership's ability to provide motivation and guidance has been carried out well. And the supervisory function is carried out directly, namely direct monitoring of the performance of subordinates and indirect supervision in the form of activity reports. This study concludes that the implementation of this program has been running well by the stages of the management function.The advice given is for the next researcher to conduct furher reaearch related to the analysis of the implementation of programs and the quality of the implementation of anc services during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Plaju Health Center.
