Abstract
Penampang seismik dengan struktur geologi yang kompleks dan adanya variasi kecepatan lateral yang besar yang terdapat pada data seismik 2D time migrated stack daerah CX’ dapat diatasi dengan pembuatan model kecepatan yang akurat. Model kecepatan yang dibuat (velocity model building) dengan konsep metode coherency inversion dan global tomography menghasilkan model yang mencerminkan keadaan geologi bawah permukaan. Selanjutnya model kecepatan interval awal yang dihasilkan digunakan untuk melakukan proses PSDM 2D (Pre Stack Depth Migration 2D). Data seismik 2D hasil PSDM (depth gather dan interval velocity model) menunjukkan peningkatan citra yang signifikan, dengan gather yang rata, mampu mempertegas pola refleksi pada horizon (lapisan) dengan variasi kecepatan lateral yang besar dan memberikan resolusi yang lebih koheren dibandingkan data seismik Pre Stack Time Migration 2D (time gather dan RMS velocity model).
