Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kascing dan pupuk N, P, K terhadap ketersediaan dan serapan P serta pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) pada Ultisol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kaca dan analisis tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia, Biologi dan Kesuburan Tanah, Jurusan Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya dari bulan Mei 2004 sampai September 2004. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan dua faktor yaitu Kascing (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 ton ha'1) dan pupuk N, P, K (0 dan 1 x dosis anjuran). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pemberian kascing berpengaruh nyata terhadap ketersediaan P, serapan P, berat kering berangkasan dan berat biji kering. Sedangkan pupuk N, P, K berpengaruh nyata terhadap ketersediaan P dan berat biji kering. Interaksi antara kascing dan pupuk N, P, K berpengaruh nyata terhadap ketersediaan P dan pH tanah. Pemberian kascing 15 ton ha secara nyata meningkatkan hasil tertinggi kedelai terutama berat biji kering sebesar 5,87 g atau 113,45 % peningkatan dibanding kontrol.
