Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the application of one-month learning model can read be in the institution of reading course Mutiara 1 Indralaya. This study used descriptive qualitative. Technique of collecting data collected through interview, observation, and documentation with tutor one month can read amounted to people tutor and 2 student learner. The results One-month learning model can read be read well implemented through the planning, implementation, and evaluation. The application of the one-month method can be read through the steps of the learning process process from readiness in learning, teaching materials, as learning reference modules, and methods. This model can read be applied to elementary school age children aged 6-8 years who have several advantages and disadvantages. Some of the advantages and disadvantages of the one-month learning model read read is the advantages make it easier, faster and fun while the weakness of a one-month learning model can read that only focused on the book, and in the application tend not to present a fun atmosphere for children.
