Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial performance, which is represented by Return on Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Eaming Per Share (EPS), Price Eaming Ratio (PER) and Firm Size on stock retums simultaneously and partially on sub-sector Property and Real Estate in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008 - 2012. The population of this study are 44 companies and 22 companies have been selected as samples obtained by purposive sampling method. The analysis methods used was a quantitative method with classic assumption testing, as well as statistical analysis with multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis showed that Return On Assets (ROA) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) occured a Multicollinearity which had to be removed on these test, so that the resulting won’t refracted. Thus, Eaming Per Share (EPS), Price Eaming Ratio (PER) and Firm Size as simultaneously effect on stock retums on sub-sector Property and Real Estate in Indonesia Stock Exchange. However, only Eaming Per Share (EPS) and Price Eaming Ratio (PER) that showed partial effect on stock returns on sub-sector Property and Real Estate in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
