Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis filsafat yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap materi operasi bentuk aljabar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari dua tahapan yaitu tahap preliminary (tahap persiapan, analisis dan desain) dan tahap formative evaluation (self evaluation, expert review, one to one, small group, dan field tes). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Lubuk dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII.1 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu walkthrough, angket, tes, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pada tahap exper review dihasilkan LKPD yang valid yang dilihat dari segi isi, konstruk, dan bahasa. Kepraktisan LKPD dapat dilihat dari tahap small group berdasarkan kemudahan siswa dalam menggunakan LKPD. LKPD yang telah dikembangkan juga memiliki efek potensial terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dilihat dari hasil tes siswa pada tahap field tes didapat 18 siswa telah mencapai nilai ketuntasan minimal dengan persentase 56,25%, serta kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi operasi bentuk aljabar termasuk kategori cukup dengan rata-rata 66,6.
