Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the effect of online learning with the Edmodo platform on excretory system achievement, and its correlation with parental participation in students of SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara. This research method is experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. A total of 62 students in Class XI Science were determined as the experimental class for those with odd numbers (31 students) and the control class for those with even numbers (31 students). The two classes are online learning, the experimental class is learning using the Edmodo platform and the control class using conventional learning (Zoom Meeting). Data collection techniques are tests, namely pretest and posttest with a total of 30 questions. Questionnaires are used to determine learning participation with a question of 27 items. The questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using t-test and descriptively. The results showed that online learning with the Edmodo platform had a significant effect on the excretory system learning outcomes (Sig. 2 = .000 <0.05). Furthermore, parental participation was related to learning outcomes (r = .0978; Sig. 0.000>0.05). Keywords: Learning, Edmodo, Parental Participation, Learning Outcomes
