Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kartilago hyalin merupakan jaringan lunak yang berfungsi sebagai pelindung sendi, pada orang yang mengalami osteoartritis diketahui bahwa terjadi kerusakan pada struktur tersebut. Dalam mendeteksi derajat osteoartritis lutut digunakan klasifikasi menurut Kellgren-Lawrence pada pemeriksaan x-ray. Pemeriksaan x-ray dapat menggambarkan kerusakan struktur tulang pada osteoartritis lutut namun tidak dapat menggambarkan struktur jaringan lunak seperti kartilago hyalin. Ultrasonografi diketahui dapat memberikan gambaran kartilago hyalin dan diketahui dapat memberikan gambaran lebih tepat dibandingkan dengan gambaran radiologi pada x-ray. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang (cross sectional) dengan jumlah 35 sampel yang dipilih dengan teknik consecutive sampling di Poliklinik Reumatologi dan Instalasi Radiologi RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2021. Analisis data menggunakan uji Korelasi Spearman. Hasil: Didapatkan hasil yang signifikan dengan arah korelasi negatif pada condylus lateralis femoris (p=0,002; r=-0,515), sulcus femoris (p=0,001; r=-0,528), rata-rata ketebalan (p=0,000; r=-0,566) dengan kekuatan korelasi sedang dan condylus medialis femoris (p=0,025; r=-0,378) dengan kekuatan korelasi lemah. Kesimpulan: Semakin berat derajat osteoartritis lutut maka semakin tipis ketebalan kartilago hyalin berdasarkan ultrasonografi.
