Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and anxiety of the nurse in Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital Rumah Sakit Penyakit Infeksi Sulianti Saroso during COVID-19. This research hypothize that there is relationship between resilience and anxiety of the nurse in Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital. The sample of this study were Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital civil servant nurses with total of 117 people. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling. There are two scales used as a measuring tool for this research, the resilience scale which refer to resilience factors by Reivich and Shatte (2002) and anxiety scale which refers to anxiety dimensions of Nevid, Rathus dan Greene (2018). Analysis of research data using Spearman Rank correlation. The results of the study showed that there was no relationship between resilience and anxiety of the nurse in Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital during COVID-19. The study found the a value of r = -0.051, and p = 0.588 (p <0.05). Therefore, the hypothesis in this study can not be accepted.
