Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hasil tanaman Microgreens sawi (Brassica juncea L.) yang dibudidayakan pada media tanam dengan komposisi media tanam organik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-November 2020 di Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan taraf perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan komposisi media tanam, terdiri atas M1 = 100% tanah, M2 = 100% kompos, M3 = 50% tanah + 50% kompos, M4 = 50 % tanah + 50% cocopeat, M5 = 50% kompos + 50% cocopeat. Peubah yang diamati yaitu persentase daya kecambah, tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, berat segar tanaman, berat segar akar, tingkat hijau daun, kadar air tanaman, dan nilai pH media. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian komposisi 50% tanah + 50% kompos merupakan komposisi media tanam terbaik untuk pertumbuhan microgreens sawi. Komposisi media tanam organik dapat digunakan secara berulang dalam beberapa periode tanam microgreens sawi.
