Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) is no stranger to being applied on devices we used in everyday life. By implementing IoT, we can be helped and simplified in doing the things we can do continuously. One of the problems we met in everyday life is the problem of flooding. Therefore, the Internet of Things (IoT) is used in places affected by floods in order to provide information that the water has reached its maximum volume in the form of notifications sent via Email, Smartphone and also an LED light indicator that functions to show the height of the water so that the owner can find out that it was time to evacuate before the flood hit the settlements. To detect the water level, ESP32 is used as a microcontroller and a Water Level Sensor is used to measure the water level. In addition, a mesh network is used based on the Quality of Service (QoS) parameters. The parameters that are taken into account are the value of Delay, Packet Loss and Throughput for each filling that reaches the maximum volume.
