Abstract

This research, entitled “Development of Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 Based Learning Media for Class X Senior High School 15 Palembang”, contains data on Relics of the Srivijaya Kingdom on Siguntang Hill. This research has been applied in class X Social Sciences 4 Senior High School 15 Palembang. The aims of this research is to develop the valid teaching materials by using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 that have an effective impact on history lesson at the Senior High School 15 Palembang. This is a development research that use the Hannafin and Peck model. The validity of teaching material is validated by three experts, they are media expert, material expert and learning design expert. The validity of the media is 4,68 categorized as very valid, the validity of the material is 4,20 categorized as valid, the validity of the learning design is 4.84 categorized as very valid. Relatively the results of the alpha test get an average value of 4.57 categorized as very valid. The effect of Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 based learning media for history lesson at 15 Palembang Senior High School can be proven by the increase of student learning outcomes before and after using learning media at the field trial stage by 39,37% with an N-gain of 0.74. This proves that the Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 learning media, the Relics of the Srivijaya Kingdom on Siguntang Hill for history lesson in class X high school has a valid and effective value.
