Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of political party administrators (political parties) on the implementation of the presidential threshold of 20% in the requirements for submitting presidential candidates. The research that will be carried out by researchers uses qualitative research methods. The variable in this study is a single variable or one variable, namely the Perception of Political Party Management (Political Parties) on the Implementation of the Presidential Threshold of 20% in the Conditions for Submission of Presidential Candidates. The population in this study is the chairman of the regional political party management branch of Oku Timur, the deputy chairman of the regional political party committee. East oku branch, and 360 political party administrators in the eastern oku branch so that a sample of 79 political party administrators was obtained. The sample in this study was obtained using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% using incidental sampling technique. Data collection techniques, where in this study using documentation, questionnaires or questionnaires and interviews. From the results of this study it was concluded that the indicators used in this study were considered to have been met or the results were positive. Shows that the first sub-indicator gets an average value (90.8%), the second sub-indicator gets an average value (86.5%), and in the third sub-indicator gets an average value (88.1%) , the fourth sub-indicator gets an average value (87.1), in the fifth sub-indicator gets an average value (88.5). Thus, it can be concluded that the political administrator's perception of the implementation of the presidential threshold of 20% in terms of submitting a presidential candidate is declared effective or the result is positive.
