Abstract

In the modern era as it is today, the advancement of technology is growing rapidly, these technological advances are no longer just in the electronics field. Along with the development of science, technology has also developed to the manufacturing sector that utilizes new technologies. With the rapid development of technology as it is today, many things have been perfected. The application of the technology system Radio frequency Identification to the library is a new stage of the identification system, with the existence of this RFID technology in the library, many things that initially might take one to two days to be done become in just a matter of minutes and more mistakes made by humans or human error minimized. The purpose of this research is to facilitate all the affairs in the library and to improve the identification system that has been used previously in the library by using a barcode. Besides being used in libraries, another example of the use of RFID is in the manufacturing sector, namely the development of information systems on warehouse management in the manufacturing industry using SOA and RFID technology. In manufacturing companies, speed is one of the components of excellence that can bring companies to be able to compete in the business world.
