Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using different types of planting media and types of wick hydroponic systems on the growth of mustard pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). The method used in this study was a two-factor randomized block design (RAK) method with nine treatments and three replications. The treatments consisted of M1S1 (Rockwool + Flannelette), M1S2 (Rockwool + Stove Axis), M1S3 (Rockwool + Banana Midrib), M2S1 (Sponge + Flannel Fabric), M2S2 (Sponge + Stove Wick), M2S3 (Sponge + Banana Leaf) , M3S1 (Coconut Coir + Flannelette), M3S2 (Coconut Coir + Stove Wick), M3S3 (Coconut Coir + Banana Leaf). Data were analyzed by ANOVA test followed by Duncan's Multiple Distance Test (DMRT). The results showed that the M1S1 (Rockwool + Flannelette) treatment had a very significant effect on the number of leaves, the M3S1 (Coconut Coir + Flannelette) treatment had a very significant effect on leaf area, the M1S2 (Rockwool + Stove Axis) treatment had a very significant effect on plant height, M2S1 (Sponge + Flannelette) treatment had a very significant effect on plant wet weight. The results of this research will be donated in the form of LKPD (Student Worksheet) in Basic Competence 3.1 Biology Class 12 Curriculum 2013 which contains Analyzing the relationship between internal and external factors with the process of growth and development in living things based on experimental results.
