Abstract
This manuseript was written based on to increasing fertilily of Ultisol and the pot expcriment to study pattern of relationship between compos and P fertilizer dosage on soil pH, the availability and uptake P and yield of sweet corn planted inUltisol.This experiment was conducted in the glass house and then for soil and plantsample analyzed at the laboratory of soil Chemical, Biology and Fertility in Soil'Department on Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University Indralaya, which wasslarted from April to Juli 2005.The experimental design used was a completely randomized design factorial arranged in two faetors, which first faetor are water hyacinth - rumen compos at the rates of 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 ton per heetare, and then the second faetor are P fertilizer consisl of 0; 0,5 and 1 times dosage recommandation. Each combination treatment applied was repealed three times, up to 45 pots experiments totally.The results of the experiment are pattern of regression soil pH, P availability, length and volum of root between compos dosage and P fertilizer is linearly. Pattern of regression uptake P, height, wet and dry wcight of plant between compos dosage in zero and 0,5 times P fertilizer is linearly, and for recommanded P fertilizer is squarcly.
