Abstract
Experiment was carried out to study Banana Bunchy Top Disease in Ogan Ilir andPalembang.Experiment was applied to use survey and GPS mapping method on various species of banana. Data gained have been descriptively analysed and were performed in tables andgraphs.Observations were conducted on BBTV-attacked banana plants, distance fromstarting point of samples, banana variety, number of banana saplings, and existence of Pentalonia nigronervosa.Experiment results showed that distribution pattems on 14 regions were based on pathogen prevalancy considered by ecological factors. Preferences of P. nigronervosa have been observed in 66 plots where the highest population has been found on Pisang Putri variety, compared to other varieties. BBTV and P. nigronervosa were considered to attack banana that possess distribution range frorn 18.75 m (the nearest) up to 150 m (the furthest).
