Abstract
The research aims to know the effectiveness of liquid formulation and solid formulation of Steinernema carpocapsae to pressing the attack of Spodoptera litura on soybean. The research was held in greenhouse and Entomology of Plant Pest and Disease Department of Agriculture Faculty Sriwijaya University from September 2008 to January 2009. The data of the research were analized with Probit Analysis to count the mark of LD50 and LT50 by using S.P.S.S Program. The expriment was done 50 for each treatment. The result of the research showed the mark of LD50 of liquid formulation is 21,91 S. carpocapsae per S. litura larvae white the LD50 of solid formulation is 23,15 S. carpocapsae per S. litura larvae. The LT50 mark of the research liquid formulation is 20,56 hours white the solid formulation is 21,37 hours. So, the dose of liquid formulation of S. carpocapsae to kill the of S. litura larvae is move effective and faster than the solid formulation.
