Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Regional Expenditures, City Road Length Infrastructure, Clean Water Distribution and Total Electricity on the Human Development Index in Cities of South Sumatra Province. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the period 2011-2020. The analysis technique in this study uses the panel data regression analysis method using the Fixed Effect Model. The results of the study stated that Regional Expenditures had a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index, on Infrastructure the Length of City Roads had a positive but not significant effect, then for Clean Water Distribution was negatively and not significantly related to the Human Development Index, and finally Total Electricity was positively correlated. and significant to the Human Development Index. The coefficient of determination value shows a percentage of 94.99 percent in the cities of the South Sumatra Province for the 2011-2020 period.
