Abstract

Penelitian mengenai Struktur komunitas Makrozoobenthos di Perairan Sungai Ogan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Sumatera Selatan telah dilaksanakan dari bulan Mei sampai Oktober 2012. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui Struktur Komunitas Makrozoobenthos yang terdapat di Perairan Sungai Ogan, Kabupaten OKU, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei sedangkan penentuan stasiun dilakukan secara Purposive Sampling. Stasiun pengambilan sampel sebanyak lima stasiun. Identifikasi sampel makrozoobenthos dilakukan di Laboratorium Taksonomi Hewan, Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sriwijaya, Inderalaya. Hasil yang di dapat dikelompokan kedaiam 7 kelas 27 Famili dan 47 genus. Indeks Keanekaragaman makrozoobenthos berkisar dari 1,25-2,55 dengan tingkat keanekaragaman sedang. Kepadatan makrozoobenthos berkisar dari 628-7157 individu/m . Nilai indeks dominansi makrozoobenthos antara 0,19-0,39. Nilai indeks kesamaan komunitas antar stasiun berkisar dari 12%-27,27%, yang mengindikasikan bahwa komunitas tersebut relatif berbeda.
